| | If you went and bought yourself CS3 I feel sorry for you. I had the misfortune of trying it once and I can say it stunk bad compared to my CS2. As for the brushes. Here is a link that may or may not help Yahoo! You likely aren't getting too many replies due to A) low traffic on the Graphic Design forum compared to some of the others and B) the number of us using CS3 are probably fairly low. |

| | thank you ShunNakamura, but i didn't buy CS3, i have a burnt copy from a friend of mine that just uses them for greeting cards. i agree with your suggestions that there aren't many people here that use CS3 or even Photosop at the matter, thanks anyway, the yahoo tip that you gave me didn't quite help, i double clicked the file and chose to be ran in CS3, still the same message popped up and said it was an unknown file type, thanks for your consideration. |

| | Ok, sorry for the major double posts, but here are 2 new sigs i've just made!, hope you like 'em: ever get those sigs that just have no feeling for text? well these are some examples. Here's a cloud and Zack sig.. ![]() Here's a reno sig.. ![]() On my recent sigs, the backgrounds are the ones im trying to improve my skills on, hopefully the placement of the images also make the sig look sweet. thanks! comments and critiques welcome ![]() |

Too sleepy to comment on them both right now, but I see some things that instantly stick out at me on this one. Too much 'empty' on the right. If the sig had been 30'ish pixels shorter[cropped] it probably would look better. Of course the text should be realigned. The render looks like it was just dumped on[it doesn't feel as if it is one with the force... I mean signature]. You could also use some playing around lighting. As I said I am a bit sleepy so I may be overlooking stuff.... however, I am liking these latest two backgrounds when compared to your previous ones. Also I was afraid the Yahoo link wouldn't work... CS3 is just a pain in my opinion. |

| | Hm you know you have a great passion for sigs and because I'm an awsome person (*drools*) I'll give you a tipo if you don't want to be bothered with those texts with shadows and glowings! In dafont.com you can go here Fancy > Distorted fonts | dafont.com and the types of fonts are already kind of worked and stylish so all you have to do is insert the text with a colour that matches the sig! ^^ For brushes I'd advice you to use heavy set of brushes! Of course some might think of traffic in downloads and things like that but if you download these brushes Abstract pack 2 by ~Mavido on deviantART VECTOR-LINEDOTS - HQ by *IHEA on deviantART Pack 1: Assorted Brushes by ~xyunaxfantasiesx on deviantART And also I don't know if Photoshop have it but I'm pretty sure it does, try to use SoftLight and Screen on the Layer options like the opacity. If you mix the gradient colours and then change the opacity and repeat that in different layers, your sig will come out awsome! Btw does PS has these names?: - Sample Colorize - Gradient Map |
