#33  Well the game is going to be a bit different from most FFs... now seems a good time to post some ideas I have. (important words bolded) 1. There will only be four characters, 4 swords, 4 characters makes sense right? And the genders will be equal 2 guys, 2 girls. 2. Each player will weild one of the Swords so they will never get a weapon change, instead they will get different Augments in the place where the weapon would usually be. The augments will basically tell you everything your weapon will do. 3. This part I'm trying to find a Ruby Scripter to help with. My idea for the leveling up system revolves around how much you use your skills. The idea is your swords have lost much of their original power, but they are the only source of magic in the game. Therefore to be able to learn new magic you must use a previous magic skill a certain amount of times. For example you can't get Wind 2 without first being level 11 AND using Wind 1 35 times. Personally I love this idea, but I have to see if I can get a scripter to help me. |

| | Hate to double post but... I've been going through the storyline this is what I got (some spoilers Being chosen by the dark sword makes you a irriplacable weapon by the military of Havon. War has followed your entire life. Finally you escape the military for a year, but only to be tracked down by a long-time friend and comrade Rose. She convinces you to come back but you still have struggles and cannot regain your will to fight. Thus she takes you to your hometown where you both grew up. You see nothing but rubble and burnt down houses. She explains that the (country needs name) army destroyed it in one of their assults during the year you where gone. Filled with anger and hatred toward (country needs name) you regain your reason to fight. When you reach the capital (needs name) you meet with General Kior (Weilder of the Elemental Sword) he explains that Havon has managed to gather all of the swords and their chosen masters and now if they could just restore thier power Havon could use them to crush (Country needs name). So you meet with Cassandra weilder of the Holy Sword, who is also Kior's lover (thought I'd throw that in considering that it will put in plot twists) and set off to to restore the 4 Swords power. You learn that the only way to restore their power would be to have the swords absorb the Relics of (Planet's name to be decided) power. Finally your task is almost complete and you only need to restore the Dark Sword to its original form... The Excalibur. Spoiler: But the Emperor of Havon has requested you take him with you to do this. When you arrive at the Dark Shrine you find that the only way to turn the Dark Sword back to the Excalibur would be to destroy the darkness that corrupted the Original wielder of the Dark Sword. So as you go to do this the Emperor throws you at of the way and absorbs the Darkness so he could have Unequaled power.... |
