I recommend either Zack & Wiki ($20) and SMT: Persona 3 FES ($30), or Boom Blox by itself($50). Try something you might not normally buy with your own money, but is generally well regarded. Gift certificates are a chance to branch out a little if there's nothing immediate you want to buy, without the risk of wasting your own money.

Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection would be my recommendation if you only have $50 to spend, considering its alot of value for your money.

You might of played them all though, which means you should get Arcana Hearts instead.

If you haven't gone shopping yet, there are also the Disgaea games (1 and 2), or what I recommend to everyone: Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS), TC:Second Opinion (Wii), and TC:New Blood (Wii). =D
