I think I got suckered into stopping at a gay bar once but we didn't stay very long before hopping to the next.

$9 a drink? Bars in english speaking countries are ridiculous!

I haven't. I don't have any gay friends (that I know of, anyway) so I've never been invited out to one.. I don't even know of any local gay bars.

Yaa ^_^ My town has 2 clubs - a gay club and an overrated one. I like dancing at the gay club... better dancers, less creepers, etc.~

Well, going out includes dancing to loud music in the clubs, and meeting new people. It's just fun. But yeah, in general so-called "pre-parties" are great for getting drunk and pumped up before actually going out. There's not much fun in arriving at a bar/club completely sober.

Yeah, pre-drinking is required for club hopping because getting drunk strictly at clubs = $$$$$$$$$
