WELCOME TO THE 2008 EOFF KARAOKE SONG OFF GOODTIMES

I decided to do this without waiting for much support from the staff, and like all of my most fabulous ideas this is pretty half cocked. I do remember sometime ago someone doing a karaoke/Britney Spears sing off and it was fabulous. Like drag queens and acrylics. So I want to do it NOW.

There are TWO CATEGORIES. VIDEO and AUDIO.

• *Each contestant may submit up to THREE VIDEOS/AUDIO RECORDINGS of themselves performing different songs. The weirder and catchier the better.
  
  *You MAY dress in drag, you MAY air guitar but you MAY NOT break any EoFF rules in the video.
  
  *To participate, you must create a video, upload it a webspace of your choosing and PM me your entries.
  
  *I will review all entries for completeness and adherence to EoFFs rules before posting them. I reserve the right to dismiss any and all videos if they don’t meet our standards, or if they suck (j/k).
  
  *I WILL POST ALL OF THE ENTRIES ON A DATE IN THE RELATIVELY NEAR FUTURE. Do NOT post any of your entries in this thread. Or I’ll kill you.
  
  *Members of EoFF will have 1-2 weeks to vote on their favorite entries. You can vote for yourself.

Recordings will be broken down into the following categories:

AUDIO
Best Audio Recording – Overall
Best Audio Recording – Male
Best Audio Recording – Female
Best Audio Recording – Duo or Group
Best Audio Recording with Instrumentation
Best Audio Recording without Instrumentation (for these YOU MUST PLAY YOUR OWN INSTRUMENT – any instrument at all. Even nose harp.)
Weirdest Song Choice
Glass Cracklin’ Range

VIDEO
Best Video – Overall
Best Video – Male
Best Video – Female
Best Video – Duo or Group
Best Costume Design
Best Air Instrumentation
Best Facial Expression
Best Hair

You have, from this point, until MARCH 1 2008 to submit your entries. You may only submit a COMBINED TOTAL of 3 videos or audio recordings, not three each.

Audacity - Freeware(!) mixing studio that allows you to record multiple channels, manually edit tracks by moving stuff around/deleting sections etc. and export the whole thing as a single MP3. I actually used this to give myself backing vocals on one song.
