| | Thanks, I was just playing vocabulary against vocabulary. Getting in the spirit of the arrogant intelligence competition/debate. Mostly for the benefit of subtle irony. It took a while, but I think the trend is catching. Then again, this thread has rapidly devolved. |

| | i think we were all aware of this from zero point, i just like the oral tones of the word. The ironic thing to do now would be to embrace the other end of the spectrum, go on do it. |

Perhaps, but without empathy we'd all be amoral...or immoral. Or something. The line of thought goes thusly: harming something which can be harmed is bad humans can be harmed do not harm humans animals can be harmed do not harm animals plants can be harmed do not harm plants I just went down the list and said that microbes and stuff can be harmed, so it's morally wrong to kill them as well. In fact if we attribute 'death' as something bad, we can't kill anything without being morally bad. And since we want to be morally good (I haven't stated the premises supporting the why and hows to this because I don't BELIEVE there are any), it reasons we can't kill anything. QED. |

| | Yeah! Fish are people, too! No... wait... nevermind. (edit... see, my ironic jump into utter stupidity) Anyways, my point clearly made, and safely in the hands of people whom I trust can easily beat our psuedo-intellectual thread starter's arrogant little worldview into the ground.... I shall return to the much better EoEo and EotW sections. *taps heels.... there's no place like home....* (edit... jump into absurdity) Oh, and why should death be considered bad? Damn, looks like i'll have to stick around a bit. |
