Welcome all to what is undoubtedly a momentous occasion in the history of these fine forums. We will get under way shortly but first of all I'd like to make a few announcements:

* Firstly as a result of Boris Johnson's ban of alcohol on London public transport, the old Southwark-Kenton feint is not possible any longer. Anyone attempting to use this strategy will find themselves without an Oyster Card and will have to miss a go until they roll a seven.

* Also important to note is that due to technical and logistical shortcomings, we will be unable to play geographical Mornington Crescent. I realise that some of you may have already booked tickets and be patiently waiting at Euston Station, but I did put up notices all around North Wales and it's not my fault you missed them. As a result, we'll be playing from the comfort of our own sofas or - indeed - office chairs.

* Aces are high. Hats are tipped. Soda is on the rocks.

* Because qwertyxsora is competing, I thought I'd give one of the new contenders a boost by declaring Green Mornington Crescent. This means that pedestrian precincts count double and that bus lanes are wild.

* Circle Line is considered the Fairway for the purposes of the first five moves.

* Might be worth making your moves in bold just to make the game a little less complicated. I know that it seems ridiculous to make the game any simpler than it already is, but y'know.

* One final plea: Please stay within the spirit of the game. We don't want a repeat of those disasterous events in Bath back in '09.

Right then, if that's the case my START will be at Waterloo, right next to that most famous Big Wheel the London Eye. Moving up to Embankment with a view to end up in South Harrow. Oh yeah thats right bitch, I'm going to take your little bush move and dump it into your pigs pile of compost with the fabled "Wheel-Harrow". Now what? Huh? Huh?

You know I had a perfect strategy worked out until you changed that. I'd normally insist on you being forced into Shade, but I'll let it pass this once.

Since you've gone to Shepherd's Bush, the only move I can make is Gospel Oak - via Bank.
