The new kid is called Hope

So, that new kid character shown at E3? His name is Hope and he fights with a boomerang. There's friction between him and Snow and he has a short temper. Apparantly, he also hugs Vanille.

And Vanille fights with a fishing rod.

Actually reading the article it describes the fishing pole as "Enemies are struck by a needle on the end of the wire", something which conjures up some sort of whip/flail hybrid. At least I hope, because a fishing pole is so incredibly lame.

"Hope" is already getting on my nerves and I still haven't played the game yet.
