My taste on ffXIII

Yesterday I saw many links concerning this game and I liked what I saw.
Seems like an interesting storyline.
The graphics and music also look superb.
It prompts a person to take a controller and play now but that is not possible.

The only letdown is the low number of characters and the fact that they don´t look interesting.
But it looks that we will start to like them as the game progresses because the trailers scream "character development" everywhere.
Consider for example the Vanille/Serah relation.
And the mysterious nature of Lightning.
