okay i was leveling up before the trip to macalania temple and i walked all the way to besaid for jecht spheres. any way i was in luca and theres this dude (greenshirt. red shoulders) in the plaza who says he asked a crusader chick out to the cafe and she called him a spoony bard!!!

i never seen that before and i would have missed it had i not been screwing around

what have you found that you didn't expect to find?

Hahaha! That's awesome! Apparently there's a "spoony bard" reference in FFXII too.

For me it was meeting Shinra on the Mi'hen Highroad after I'd played FFX-2 (in FFX; this random NPC's model was recycled as Shinra). Talk about lazy...

There's a "REd Mage" somewhere in IX or XII I think. She has 1 unspoken line if you talk at her.

There are a few Red Mages in FFIX, I think. Kinda makes sense, since many other job and magic classes are present.
