Jecht spheres and dark aeons (international PAL version)

Hey everyone, sorry if this has been asked before. I'm collecting the jecht spheres for tornado and I was wondering if there was a way to get the one outside besaid temple before dark valefor shows up? I doubt it but no hurt in asking.

If you backtrack to Besaid straight after the battle with Spherimorph you can collect all but one of the necessary spheres without encountering any dark aeons. The final one is on Mt. Gagazet.
