Here's a good one for those of y'all playing the PC version....

I go to the Deep Research area to fight Bahamut, I had Squall, Zell and Quis in the party. I recall there's supposed to be a save point that appears once he joins up with you, next to the hole that you're supposed to climb down to fight the Ultima Weapon.

No save point, no vine/ladder thingy to climb down. I restarted from my last save point twice and the same thing happened.

Not such a big deal, as I know I can draw Eden later in the game, but still annoying. Anyone else have this happen?

Don't take Zell with you...
You can have Rinoa, Irvine, Quistis or Selphie... Just don't put Zell in your party if you want to see that save point.

After defeating Bahamut you need to return to the Ragnarok and talk with Irvine. The save point and passage will then be available. I shouldn't think having Zell is affecting anything.

Yea that happened to me once as well. If it's definately not back after what ET said then it could be brought by the Move/Find ability. More likely what ET said though

Well I feel silly. I totally forgot that you're supposed to talk to everyone on the ship to get the save point.

Guess I didn't have enough Diet Cherry Coke in my system at the time....
