What are the most stupid myths you ever heard about FFVIII?

I was once told you could get the Lionheart by mugging Seifer in Deling City. (ok i actually spent ages learning mug and tried it but its kinda tempting, right?

What about you? have you ever really gone out of your way for something that turned out to be a load of Bull?

I think that Obel Lake sidequest is a waste of time.
I find that a lot of the sidequests were actually.
They were boring, and the rewards weren't always decent.

once i first read the obel lake sidequest i was thinking. what a hilarious rumour, but when i found out it was real i had a huge mental attack and had 5 operations on my foot for no reason inperticular.
