It's not any of Tifa's weapons, 8 Inch Cannon or Grappling Gun.

It's an item you can only get at Spoiler: Fort Condor.

Vagyrisk is a mistranslation of Basilisk, which would make sense since it causes petrification. There's ambiguity between B/V and R/L when translating from Japanese.

I've heard rumors that low-level Basilisks drop them, but so far I've only seen them dropped by Command Grand Horns.

I guessed Vagyrisk Claw with some ambiguity as you said that it was only available from Fort Condor, when in fact you can steal them (rarely) from Bagrisks (another poor translation) before Lv78.
