I just finished crisis core, and when i was browsing, wondering whether it was worth it to play it again, i came upon an article(Final Fantasy VII remake confirmed in Crisis Core? :: PlayStation Universe (PSU)) that said that on the end of the FFVII intro at the end of FFVII:CC, a picture shows up that confirms a remake.. however, i couldnt see the picture..

has anyone here played through crisis core a second time? And if so, what picture do they mean?

it says "To be continued in Final Fantasy VII"

Some people see it as confirmation, but most look at it as saying the continuation of the story is in the original FFVII.

People got all flustered about this after Crisis Core was released in Japan, too. At the very most, it's a bit of innuendo.

Hmm i saw that too in the first playthrough.. i dont think that means anything though..

I think that it only serves to tell the player to continue the story by playing the original Final Fantasy VII and not a hypothetical remake of Final Fantasy VII. Is there a new screenshot of the game in a better graphics format or something that would cause this type of speculation?

but there is an extra scene where cloud stands upon the train like Zack in the very beginning of FFVII:CC

and says Spoiler: I am.. your legacy.

but i think that still belongs to Crisis core

Except, the story doesn't continue in FFVII. 'Cause Genesis wasn't in FFVII.
