PSP. I wasn't aware that the basis of the story fot that game was Project G, though. Hmmm, interesting.

Crisis Core centers around Zack and the events with him leading up to Sephiroth's turning (I'm not sure if it goes up to his death or not). I think in it though he is, at some point, given a mission to track down a "rogue SOLDIER" who is Spoiler: reported to be Genesis.

I think the secret ending means Square has an idea that they are thinking about. If they can't put it into a usable form, well they technically never said there would be a sequel. If they can put it into a usable form, well there was the secret ending to foreshadow its coming, so it isn't completely out of nowhere.

Very well put. This will all hopefully come together once Crisis Core is released.

there will most definitely be a sequel to the game, even if it does or doesn't involve genesis or cloud's gang. the reason i know this, is because the they've already confirmed that the compilation of final fantasy vii series will continuing to produce games until 2017, on the original's 20th anniversary. there. at least we know there'll be more games...i mean, they cant keep making more prequels, can they?

Come on, how many games can they put in 7 and keep it from being far, far too repetitive and still something quality? I think that's a little ridiculous...
