I don't think the Cactuars drop anything. I managed to kill that hidden Cactuar inside Deepground by using the Ultima Weapon, and got nothing for my trouble

The Omega files give you more information about Omega, the Lifestream, and Lucrecia's background. The G Reports give you the secret additional ending.
