#1 What era did the Shera come from? Since when did Reeve become a war hero? Is DoC set before or after AC? What did Grimoire Valentine do? And finally who is Vincents mother? |

| | 1. Not too sure, but it's said to run on 'some mysterious ancient power source'. I think this is a hint towards the VII/X/X-2 connection. 2. When he evacuated Midgar prior to Meteorstrike. 3. One year after. 4. He was Lucrecia's mentor, and aided her in her Omega/Chaos research. 5. It's not said. |

| Former Staff | 1. This is pure speculation, but it could be from the same era as the aircraft in the Bone Village excavation site. If you check out that location in the original game, there's something that resembles an F-15 fighter half buried there. That, and the Shera, are pretty convincing proof that FFVII's world has seen civilisations rise and fall in the past. 2. Reeve is a 'war hero' for his part in defeating Sephiroth and Jenova (hence, "hero of the Jenova War") and, as has been said, for helping to save the citizens of Upper Midgar. 3-5. What Endless. said. |

What's this? Are they saying there is a possibility that the different final fantasy games could end up taking place within the same universe. Only hundres, or perhaps thousands, or perhaps tens of thousands years apart from eachother. |
| | |
| | Not all FF games, just FFVII and FFX. People from Spira travelled to Gaia, and Shinra's ancestors used their knowledge about the Lifestream to suck it from the planet. |

Hmmm, so your saying that Spira and the VII world are not the same planet but the people from Spira traveled to the VII world sometime after the final fantasy X series of games took place. And the civilization in ff 7 derived from the people from Spira. Is their any solid proof that this is the case or is this basically just some theory that a few fans thought up to account for some stuff in the games. |
| | |
| Former Staff | The theory was put forward by one of the writers (not Tetsuya Nomura, but someone else) at an interview or press conference. He stated it as a possible explanation for the strong links between X and VII. |

Oh ok good deal. I just wasn't sure if it was valid or if it was just another one of those far reaching ideas that fans alot of times come up with. Maybe that has something to do with why 7 and 10 are the two series in which they have continued on. Maybe if they continue making games for the two franchises they will begin connecting the dots. |
