That warning sign on the highway was quite apt, I thought - after all, it's an unfinished highway that ends in a sheer drop, so it's good that they've closed it off. Also, it heads back toward Midgar - and in DoC we're told that the leaking Mako energy from the damaged reactors have made the city unfit for re-colonisation.
