Cyan and Machines? (Spoilers)

Cyan is aparantly afraid of machines....Were in the game a part from His notes in the WOR and his Ending does the game mention this?

When you first get on the Phantom Train. If you go back to the Caboose, Sabin will hit a switch and Cyan will freak out. Sabin says something like "You are a total clutz around machines!" and Cyan says "You could tell!?"

Somthin like that.

Also if you speak to him in the airship he's in the engine room and is learning about the airship's mechanics.

Supposedly, the books you get from Cyan's treasure chest in his WoR hideout will give him the ability to use tools, like Edgar. I dunno if it's just a rumor, though.
