Squall in FFVI

I read somewhere that in the psx version of FFVI you could sometimes see squall from FFVIII walking about on the save/load/new game-screen. is that true? 'cause i've never seen him, just all the other characters (except umaro and gogo)...

I hate to reply without being positive, but I remember a while back folks around here were talking about it, and I am pretty sure that it's true that you can see a Squall sprite on that screen sometimes. If I am wrong then I am a big jerk! sorry.

No, my friend has the PSX game, and she's seen it. I think it is just a rare thing, though. Squall and Onion Kid, if I remember correctly.

My friend told me something stupid, like, if you were to get every character to get their stats maxed, then one of them becomes Squall. Though it's obviously fake.

They were close. What happens is in the PSX version, if you get a character to 100% usage, they become either squall or onion kid.

Although yes, Squall/Onion Kid on the title load/save screen does exist. If you're feeling less lazy than me, you could use Search to find the older threads talking about this, which I think include pictures too of the sprite maps from the game etc.
