I've played it on PS2 and it's still slow. And by extras I believe he means cinematic clips and such. The bestiary is included in the GBA version, as well as the music player.

Ok, maybe you just need a more moden PS2? There are atleast two types now.

I just set my PS2 settings to "smooth and fast" it dosent seem slow at all to me

I've tried that. It helps some but it still runs slow when loading.

Yeah, it still is slow compared to other games

just not as bad.
