Hmm, Final Fantasy VI (PSP?)

I was thinking, it may be cool to see Final Fantasy VI remade for the PSP. No, not ported. Remade. Slick animations, character transactions, magic, cut scenes... The works. As if it were meant for the PS2.

Well, any thoughts?

TO be honest, it doesn't seem like the demand for a FFVI is too high. The only ones that people wanted remade were III and VII. So since III already got redone....maybe VII will fill the next void? I don't know..

If FFI and FFII are any indication, Square Enix doesn't know how to make high-res 2D graphics that don't look like they belong in a third-rate Korean MMO. So, no, I do not think subjecting FFVI to that would be cool.

I'm pretty sure they meant a 3D remake. I'd rather not see one, but since FFIII did and now FFIV is being remade in 3D I'm not so sure it won't happen. If FFV gets a remake then FFVI will.

I love the remakes and ports that Square Enix has been making, but I think that the company needs to take a new direction before any more are made. They seem to have a thing for delegating ports to poor programming teams and remaking games with odd graphical styles.

I'm burned out on all of the pre-FFVII remakes that they're doing. I would rather them focus on new properties or work on post-FFVI games then spend more time redoing another FFI-VI game again. 1-3 ports/remakes is more than enough.

I expect a remake for the DS since SE has remade III and is working on remaking IV for the DS
