I Hate/Love Ultros

Is there anyone else who loves to hate Ultros? xD
Also, i decided to restart the game, and during the first Ultros battle, he says 'you frighten me' and then uses tentacle on Banon and he always dies without fail. is there anyway i can protect him or anything cause i have no chance of levelling up D:

You just got unlucky, I dont think he just attacks Banon. You could put him in the back row, and if he already is then you can make him use defend. Making sure he is at full health helps too. Or if you can circle around lete river abit until you level up. Unless you saved beyond the point where you can circle, in which case just defend and heal. Or beat ultros quickly with a few well place fire spells with blitzes and whatever tool you use.

I think Banons level is the average of your parties level so if you have a save before you get him you can train there and when you get him he'll be at a higher level

AND WE ALL KNOW EVERYONE LOVES ULTTY AS MUCH AS ZOZO!!!

I think if we were to meet Ultros in Zozo the pleasure overload would prevent the game from every being finished, which is why they didnt put him there

Now lets throw some sprites in for fun!!!

Ultros is the best damn character in the game.

Put your entire party in the back row for the whole log ride, it's not like you ever need to use any physical attacks what with Sabin and Edgar having incredibly cheap attacks.

I don't hate to love him, I just outright love him. I'm always saddened when I see him-- octopus royalty!-- reduced to a clerk at the colosseum.

Seriously, Ultros is a great villain. He's hillarious.

And he looks funny, too. His sprite looks like a scalp scrubber. Of course, Bipper told me it looked like one of the Scrubbing Bubbles.

Ultros is great, definitely my favorite villain in the game besides Kefka.
