Definately Gau. It's not because I'm lazy either - I made Strago a really sick blue mage. I just can't let some dirty uncivilized kid mess things up with his randomness. I'll probably give him a shot on my next playthrough though.

Cyan's one of my favorites, with Gauntlets and his scimitar (i think) and pumping his STR stat, he was one of my top guys. Same with Relm, her magic is just unbelievable. Shadow too, good speed + good strength + throw +interceptor randomly saving the day = one of my favorite FF characters. So yeah, those 3 i've seen brought up here alot but they're 3 of my favorites.

As for realm, I really do not get why she has the highest MagPwr, when Terra obviously should!? And why does sketch/control suck? Good MagPwr and trance ftw.

Least favorite character? I'd say Mog. I hate him, I really do. He isn't a strong character in any field, and his dance ability just seems pointless. I mean, the skills he gets from the field types aren't that strong. And for some reason he almost never hits anything when I tell him to "Fight". I don't understand how my little moogle with a spear larger than him can't hit a giant worm that doesn't move. If I get too mad at him I just have my boy Sabin cast a nice Flare spell on him to kill like that, then have my girl Relm bring him to life with a Phoenix Down because I don't feel he deserves to have me waste my MP to bring him back to life. I really shouldn't hate Mog as much as I do, but I can't help how I feel. Strago is a close second because there's no point in using Blue Magic when normal magic is better anyways.

How can anyone possibly say Gogo is bad? Here's my favorite attack sequence:

1. Someone Quicks Relm.
2. Relm casts Ultima 4 times (with Gem Box/Economizer).
3. Gogo mimics.
4. BOOM!

Umaro is just awesome, too. He's random, but really, really strong. He's especially fun in the Colosseum.

My least favorite character is Strago. I'm way too lazy to get him any decent Blue magic besides Grand Train.

Because Gogo's stats don't increase and he can only do the attacks and maybe half the strength of the other characters.
