Yeah, I was surprised when those battles turned out to be perfectly easy once you had hit upon the few combinations that made them perfectly easy. Neither Shinryuu nor Omega have a ton of HP by any means, really.

but geeze, if you don't get a good combination, there's no way you're going to win;o

Tbh been there done that. exept i did it without dragon lances and going by how much hp he had im guessing i was a lower level (didnt catch his level??) so yeah not surprised really that someone else has done it, its a very simple "hit hard and fast" strategy which was actually my final resort in my one-on-one with shinryu in my single character challenge

perhaps if he put him/her self in a more difficult situation against shinryu it would be more impressive because with stats and abilities like that, anyone can do it really.

He's at level 63.

He has mastered all the jobs and reached level 63 in only 35 hours or so. Then again, if he's playing a single-character challenge, doesn't that mean Butz gains EXP faster? But really, Shinryu and Omega are both, at least to me, about killing them as fast as possible, before they kill you. Quick + X-Fight + X-Fight will do a lot of damage to both special bosses, especially if you combine that with the Thunder Sword ability when fighting Omega.

That's some pretty sweet junk. I watched the other ones where he defeated Omega WEAPON, and Ex-Death and Neo Ex-Death with just Butz too. Makes me want to go back and soup up my characters and finish learning all of the job abilites that I left undone.

The video of him defeating the Omega wasn't too bad, either, although once again, the battle was based on him hitting the Omega and defeating it before it had a chance to do much damage. He also used the Omega's weakness to Thunder to his advantage.
