i keep getting stuck at the boss in the meteor (not titan)

Which boss is it? The one that revives it's buddies?

If so game faqs has a few strategies. The simpliest though is to just use summons and get them all down to approximately the same amount of health and then off em all at once before they can revive. Another option is to let them cast so much Lifes that they run out of MP or to just mute them. Personally I prefer the first method.

You should cast Silence on them. They are susceptible to that status and the spell can target all enemies at once. That is the simplest solution rather than forcing all of your characters to change job classes for another strategy.
