I use Guardian/Mighty Guard. It reduced the damage of Meteo by a bit. Meteo also does random damage (sometimes it might do 2000, sometimes, only 500). He counters with Meteo once his HP drops below 33,000; he'll counter with it twice if you attacked him twice with 2 weapons. After that, he'll cast either 3x Meteo, or he'll use 3 of his other attacks in a row, choosing from Blaze, Lightning, Blizzard, Aqua Rake, Hurricane (e.g. Hurricane+Blizzard+Aqua Rake) which never repeat from what I've seen (so he won't use something like Blizzard+Lightning+Blizzard). You can use Fire Rings to absorb Blaze and nullify Blizzard, and you can use Ice Shields to absorb Blizzard. Aqua Rake is non-elemental for some reason. These are just things which I have noticed from fighting him; I don't think I've seen any guide, FAQ, or Walkthrough on FF5 that tell much information about his attacks.
I NEVER use Kiss of Blessing. Gogo can also be silenced from what I've heard, but don't do it, as it is REALLY cheap.
Try beating Gogo for yourself! You might find it fun.
