Default Carnbuncle

I went around looking on the site walkthrough. It tells me that on the 10th floor you get to reach Carnbuncle. I've done everything and keep on falling on lava (and has used about 50 of my hi-potions). So can anyone tell me how to go through and get Carnbuncle.

To avoid getting hurt by the lava, just have a Geomancer in your party. You won't fall down holes either if you have one.

Anyway, all the way to the right on the second floor of the room, there's a set of buttons in the shape of skulls. Most of these skulls are traps, but one of them will teleport you to Carbuncle, and it's the skull that's at the top. Just find your way over there by trial and error since you have Geomancer on and you won't fall down.

Especially three Blue Dragons. Though they all appear on top of each other because the game can't fit them all separately.

Also, I think you can prevent the lava from hurting you by casting Float.

yeah i think you can get float in surgate castle by putting the books of the library away properly. it's very useful, especially in later dungeons.
