Yeah Vivi_ultima is right, it's the friendly Yan, you need the Diamond or some jewel for him and also you need to meet all the other land spirits.

But I'm way from the food
One creature scare at me
They manage to escape from me
But my species follow them after that
Seeing them smaller, make me comfort
As they are smaller than the mist
Even if they did, it just a glitch for me

I'm thinking of a Hedgehog Pie just because you said "I was called a food" but that has nothing to do with the rest of the riddle and I don't think it has an effect.

the first and second line refer to characteristic of this enemy
the third to fifth line refer to it's life
the sixth to eighth line refer to the status effect it can give

so tell me, the name of this monster and status effect he can give

Ok, this doesn't really correspond with my answer...
