#9 it would be fine on a first playthrough as long as you had a chance to save and go level up right before the battles/dungeons. |

| | Steiner and Vivi would get their asses kicked. They have no proper way of healing other than items, which is kinda meh... Dagger and Eiko lack offensive power but Dagger's trance would come in handy here. I was kinda glad when Quina went with Zidane. She can be a pretty potent support caster with all the blue magic that's available a that point. |

| Former Site Staff | I actually thought that that was going to be the case the first time I played the game and I felt disappointed by the actual result. I'd not played FFVI by that time, but it just seemed like a really cool bit of the game with all of your party members fighting together. At the same time I was relieved that I wouldn't have to fight a boss with just Eiko and Garnet. Though if it were an undead monster that would've been doable, I guess. |
