Why does Bahamut live on the moon, and not in the Land of Summons with his wife?

He's their god. If a God revealed itself to its creations, it would answer questions, decrease war, and generally make life easier. We can't have that.

Here's another one that pisses me off. How do Rosa and Rydia survive going to the moon hanging to the outside of the big whale?
