His weapon the random assortment of manipulated downfolk that he has run into the enemy and blow up.

Cid would be his strongest weapon, as blowing up doesn't get rid of him.

He probably does have a sword, but chances are it's for show. Besides, Golbez would rather blast you with magic or send one of his minions to do his dirty wrok.

i think a flaming sword would suit him.

or at least when he's evil in his crazy evil guy stance when you fight him. imagine him hovering like some crazy badass mage with a flaming sword.

or a big metal staff. wooden isn't evil enough.

I think a dark-themed short sword would suit Golbez quite well. Maybe something slightly similar to Riku's Soul Eater. Another cool weapon for Golbez would be the same that Magus uses: a scythe.

something demonic would definately fit in with his character.....but judging by his character he'd probably use a nasty looking dagger to go up close and personal for the kill...
