#233 Although the monsters still hit hard like the PS1 version and have higher Hp then from the original, SNES version. I think it's nicely balanced though, especially for any newbies of the series who want to pick up the game. |

| Administrator | One notable difference I've noticed so far is that Fabul spoilers: in previous versions of the game, if you got Cecil up to Level 99 before the battle against Cain, he wouldn't be able to hurt you too much (if at all) and you could easily whittle down his 65,000-some HP. Not that it changed the story or anything, but it was fun to do. In this version, though, Cain's jump attack never misses and will drain Cecil's HP in short order even if he's at Level 99. Curiously, the same isn't true of the Yang fight in Baron. |

| | I've just beat the Giant of Babil, and now can get my secondary 5 characters their hidden weapons in the first hidden dungeon. What I'm really interested about is the second dungeon once the game is completed. Last edited by Dignified Pauper; 12-15-2005 at 06:19 AM. |
