#41 Damn, and I came in here thinking I knew something about FF4. I don't know half these questions. I really got to play through it again. |

| | I didn't realize that was actually possible. I always though that was a fight you had to lose, just like with Beatrix in FF9. EDIT: I read on a walkthrough that Cain actually has 65,000 hp. You would have to do some significant leveling up to defeat him. Anyhow, I don't know for sure....but my guess is that the script does not change at all. I can't imagine the game designers ever figured we'd be insane enough to level up and defeat Cain. And if not that, the game probably crashes. Last edited by Storm; 04-25-2004 at 09:04 PM. |

| | Well, that's pretty lame that the script doesn't change. I don't see why Cecil can't beat Cain at that point in the game. Let's see... How many different "obstacles" prevent you from actually fighting Odin in the basement of Baron Castle? Describe each obstacle. If you need further clarification, let me know. |

| | I think I know what your talking about. 3 obstacles. 1. Guard prevents you from getting down there until you defeat Cainazzo. 2. The mystic field prevents you from getting to the throne room untill you get Rydia. 3. The King will not challenge you until you have beaten Leviathan. Is this what you meant? |
