Question Questions about Zeromus and other stuff.

I have questions concerning Zeromus and other stuff.

1. The bottom of Zeromus flickers all the time when fighting him. What's the problem?

2. Sometimes when I hard reset or turn on my PS2, even when my game's in it, it goes to the "Please insert PS1 or PS2 disc in." This REALLY annoys me.

1. Nothing. I think that's just showing that perhaps his body is unstable, or that he's brimming with power and ready to erupt. The latter, I think.

2. Happens all the time. PS2 can have problems reading PS1 discs. Personally I'm just happy that it can at all, seeing as it's the only system that doesnt want you to abandon their old games.

His lower body is engulfed in the energy at the bottom of the screen. I fought him last Friday, and he was too weak.

Does anyone have a good strategy as for how to beat him?

Here's how to beat him Rydia1411:
Ciecl: attack non-stop.
Kain: jump non-stop
Edge:throw everything you have. Then attack non-stop.
Rydia:summon Bahamut. I don't know if Zemus'll attack.
Rosa: Cure4 all non-stop.
If somebody needs a Elixir or Ether, don't have Rosa give it to them or you'll probably lose.

Okay, thanks. I thought it'd be something like that.

Edit: Well, following that strategy made it a piece of cake, really.

The Spoon helps, too, if you have that to throw. If not, usually before I go to the Moon, I find the most powerful weapon I can get and buy a crapload of 'em. That'll usually do about 6000 or more when thrown.

And I don't know how many people know this, but one of Edge's last weapons (either the Murasame or the Masamune--I think it's the Masamune, but I'm not sure) will cast Haste on you if you use it. I always make this his first move. Just go to Items and press up, like you would if you were equipping him, select it, and the hand will point to Edge if it's the right weapon. Don't worry, the weapon is still there and you can do that as much as you want.

Another good tip is to cast Bersk on Cecil, then on Edge when he runs out of things to throw.
