I think so far they can hold up to 2GB's in size, which is a hell of a lot of space for a DS game (pretty much the same size as the Playstation FF games). Oh and by the way, they get to work with lower resolutions, which means they have even more room than your typical 4-disc PSX Final Fantasy.

It isn't 2 gigabites. It's just over 2 gigabits, or 256 megabites.

It was revealed in the developpers blog today that the voice-acting can be switched-off, the cut-scenes can be skipped but can also be rewatched with a theatre-option in the game.

The official site has been updated with new character videos of Yang, Edward and Rydia. Note that the Jeux-france link is missing the SECOND Rydia video, which shows Rydia as an adult. To see that one, you'll need to go to the official site I fear.

the use of the camera for cut scenes looks great... hopefully the battles are as well done as the storytelling promises to be.

It was also good to hear the battle theme kick up for the yang scene....
