Definately a quest for the Supersoft ala FFIX to get back the twins. I know in the GBA version I saw that if you inspect them the menu opens up as if you're supposed to use an item, i'm not sure if it's already there but it just screams as if something that was supposed to happen was left out.

Flashbacks would be awesome, Cecil and Kain growing up, being raised and taught about life by King Baron. Cecil studying studiously to master the art of the Dark Sword.

Also I would like to see the aspect of the two moons and the changing of colors be elaborated on, as this is very subliminally shown in FFIX, in fact the last image in that game is of the two moons.

More backstory on the Lunarians!!!

Also more on King Bahamut's departure from the Land of Summons, and what it was he's doing on the moon and what exactly the two kids there with him were.

With Dissidia suggesting connectivity, it might be interesting to see some connection between mount, an the castle of, ordeals. And of the rat tail, adamant, and excalibur for that matter.

In fact there's so many things that could be elaborated on if connectivity is real, like Mysidia, the Lunar Whale being a futuristic version of the Invincible, other things I guess. But that's just my hopes.

Definately more, I love conspiracies!!!

There was no way to remove their petrification in any prior verson, so I'd like to see that as well.

I just hope anything that's added or removed overall doesn't totally kill what was intended in the original game. I'm fine with cleaning up translations, or expanding on things, so long as it doesn't stray too far. I always start to worry though when there's talk of removing things.

I would also love some expansions on Tellah and Edward.

I would love to learn more about Cecil and Golbez's parents.

I want to know how Cecil and Golbez got seperated as well as what Golbez had done prior to IV plot.

I want the Tower of Babil to be explained more.

They would never remove "You spoony bard"! That line is the pinnicle of all Final Fantasy goodness, the single most famous line in history, and it won the second world war. Sort of. In a way.

Plus, is cures cancer and knows that meaning of life.

Anyway, nice thread Wolf Kanno, and i'm loving all of your ideas Bolivar. Personally, i would also like to know more about the tower of Babel and Kains childhood. Possiblly some more quests like Bolivar's Supersoft one, like finding a healing item to save Yang from his injurys.

Personally, I'm still fond of the Frying Pan but that may just be me

You know, now would be a wonderful time to go into details about Rosa as well. The game mentioned she became a White Mage in order to help Cecil. But wasn't it also mentioned that Rosa's mother did the same for Rosa's father? It's been awhile since I've played through FFIV (I should pick up the Advance Version) but wouldn't it be neat to delve into that as well?

Some more info on Baigan and some of the other Elemental Fiends would be intriguing as well...
