#25 Elpizo, that was a truly enlightening post that really made me emphasize with your feelings about FF-haters today, and I also find it appalling and pathetic, and has reached the climatic extent when a gamer is never pleased at what is offered to the plate. Personally, I love every FF game thrown at me and naturally adapt to playing them, but I guess other people grow to spiteful at what they call "Dysfunctional" errors in the game; let it be graphics, platform, or any other simplistic reason. |

| | I don't know if I wasn't clear or if you were reading wrong. I don't hate any mainstream Final Fantasy games. I don't like the Tactics games, but I understand those who do. I'm by no means a basher. I just want to clarify that when you do with a game what they did with Final Fantasy III and are doing with Final Fantasy IV, it just seems like a completely different game. I'm not against the new game. I just wish the original were available. I understand people who like these DS versions, but that's not me. I prefer classic style for classic games. As for handhelds. I don't like them. That's me. You can like them all you want. I don't think less of you for liking them and you shouldn't think less of me for not liking them. As a person who doesn't like handhelds, if a game is only available on a handheld, in my mind, it's not available. Therefore, Final Fantasy III (to me anyway) wasn't released in the US. I don't have a huge problem with playing a fan-translated ROM, but I still prefer consoles. I have a right to hold these opinions as a gamer, and I'm offended at your insults implying that I don't. We all have different tastes. And that's exactly the reason that every Final Fantasy game (or any game in general) ever released had some people that didn't like it. I'm not saying I don't like Final Fantasy III as I've never had the chance to play it. I just prefer to play it in classic style and not on a handheld. I hope these random thoughts weren't to jumbled to make out my point as I don't really feel like arranging them in a linear line of thought. |

| | Now, now, we all have our opinions and tastes. I for one am not going to get this game, but that's just because I didn't like the older FFs as much. Though to be fair, I've only played FFIV for the GBA and I just got FFIII DS for my birthday, so I should give the others a chance at least. It all depends on what you look for in a game. |

| | The Ceej, the point where you fail is this one: You deny the official release of Final Fantasy III. That you can't play it is your decision, but therefor it does not mean that it is not released for you in America. It is offficially released in America and no matter how people feel about handhelds, it is released, it exists and that's that. Denying it is just stupid. If it was not released, no coppies of the game would be found in stores. A release on handheld is a release, plain and simple. And to think "It's not there because it's not on a TV-console" is being plain ignorant. Sorry, but that's the only way I can see it. If tiny screens bother you so much, dive into emulators. |

| | I was thinking of holding off on buying a DS and FF3 for a couple more years, but after seeing this trailer I think I'll just buy those and IV when IV comes out ![]() I think they are: http://cache.kotaku.com/assets/resou...enffivscan.jpg |
