I've used only one shuriken and that was as an item that I threw. They are single-use only.

Aha, left in the item menu. I always miss that stuff. I don't want to tell you how long it took me to figure out how to change rows in battle the first time I played ff5 :]]

I'm about halfway through the water crystal dungeon and on my way to Kraken, how much more do I have to play until I've completed the game?

Up to the Water Cave now on my DS. Grrr to Hyne and Salamndr who are without a doubt the cheapest bosses in all of the DS version.

Really? I found Kraken to be the biggest pain in the general ass area. Then that damned Spoiler: Cloud of Darkness.

Just got my nifty shoes in the sewers. Really had no trouble with Kraken. He owned me once, then I got everyone a level went back in, and well Scholar with double Light Books, Ranger with Lightning Arrows, and Knight owned him fast.

Salamandr's fire breath twice in a row however...
