#1 NES - Final Fantasy 2 I never really understood the true effects of Fog. It obviously "dumbfounds an enemy", but what does it really mean? Could anyone define this? Last edited by Peter_20; 12-10-2005 at 08:59 PM. |

| | It implies what one would probably assume--that something (in this case, spells) can't be remembered. If Fog is used successfully against the party, afflicted characters will be unable to use magic, and this effect will last even after the battle ends. Regarding use against enemies, the functionality is almost identical to Mute, as the enemies won't actually survive beyond the battle anyway. |
