Default Missable Items

Is there any item/weapon/spell/monster that if you don't encounter at one point in the game, you can't go back later for it?

On a side note, can you get one of every item/armor/weapon or does the limited inventory space prevent that?

You definitely cannot have one of every item at a time. In fact you will be discarding equipment by the end of the game beacuse you have fifteen freaking million key items

well nm about that, I'm not sure what the # of item slots is in origins, but it's a riduculous 29 in the nes. Somewhere around ten of those will be used up by items you can't get rid of by the end of the game

One nice thing about Origins is they tweaked both FFI and FFII to make them more balanced and user-friendly.

The inventory capacity is 63. Would have been 64, but the 'discard' command takes up a slot.

EDIT:

OK, I found a FAQ and I crunched the numbers. It's literally impossible. There are 53 separate weapons, 49 pieces of armor, 31 regular items, and 14 event items. That's 147 types of items!

And even taking into account that each character has 7 open slots for equipping items and armor, that still only leaves 91 slots for carrying items.

The anniversary addition on the PSP gets rid of this "one slot per each item" thing
