#1 Firion has all the White Magic so he doesn't have a lot of Stregnth to begin with. But that's more than taken care of with Gus and Leila and Maria has Holy 6 and Ice/Fire 5 and Bolt 4, so I don't really have a problem doing damage. It's awesome that Blood Sword drains HP, but it's soooo weak, I'm not sure it's worth it. Also, Esuna 5 can cure anything right? |

| | Haha, you're playing this game for the same reason I was. |

| | Yeah. But if you want it to have a better chance of curing status ailments such as petrification in battle you should raise it to a higher level. At higher levels it'll be able to cure everyone who is petrified in your team. Keep in mind that outside of battle Esuna will always work at high enough levels but in battle it'll ocassionaly fail even if your Esuna spell is at the right level to cure the status ailment. |

| | Yes, the Blood Sword is very useful during that battle. However, it also seems to work wonders against many other bosses, at least the ones in Spoiler: Jade and Pandemonium. |
