Default FFI: NES or Origins?

So, what do you guys think?
I was impressed with origins but somehow I felt like I was playing a different game. I didn't experience that extreme nostalgia I feel whenever I switch on FF1 and have to think of banal four-letter names and be met with a very primitive battle screen where a big, white bar seperates you from your opponents and all damage is done telepathically....*sob*....which is why I am voting for NES.

I like originals better, besides, all the remakes were made too easy.

I would say NES except for one thing. I hate shopping in the NES version. After playing Origins, I have a hard time going back and playing the NES version for that reason.

There's really no reason not to play the Origins version. It's slower, it's clunkier, the interface is terrible, you can't tell what spells you can learn, nor what equipment you can use. There's a strict limit to what you can actually carry, and it generally looks worse. The only real reason is nostalgia.

i got the GBA version but its far too easy. you level up crazily fast but the final boss has 20000 HP but the new secret dungeons are fun but they make the game too easy because there are extra ribbons making there 4 ribbons.

I think you meant to say the "original" version over origins.
