#1 I'm using a 4 Red Mage party, so that means a lot of different spell combinations. What do you think I should go with? So far I'm only level 5. Del L1 - Cure1, Fire1, Sleep1 L2 - none Yams L1 - Cure1, Lit1, Sleep1 L2 - none Champ L1 - Cure1, Fire1, Sleep1 L2 - NulLit Romeo L1 - Cure1, Lit1, Sleep1 L2 - Ice1 I decided to go with Cure1 and Sleep1 across the board because they are so awesome. Level 2 kinda sucks for spells. |

| | No. Only WM/WW can get the Harm and Heal-type spells. As for spell choices for Red Mages, obviously Curing spells should be high on your priority list. Since you can get a decent amount of physical damage out of them offensive spells aren't necessarily as important, though in the higher spell tiers they're the only choice of spells you have. You can get the Nul-type of spells, though it's probably not worth giving every party member each type. Rather give one person AICE, another ALIT and another AFIR so in the first round you can cast each of them on your party. Also with Haste give it to maybe two of your party members so they can Haste the whole party in Boss battles. Status-inducing spells are junk, don't bother with them. |
