Reflections on a solo Fighter/Knight party:

It gets through the game really quickly. I didn't die as much as I would've for any other solo party. However, getting paralyzed really pissed me off. No solo party again for me for a while. I'll probably play an old classic, the Fi/xx/WM/BM party next.

Necro is crazy.

Some ugly undead in the Western Keep nearly handed my ass to me. But my D'Arcy is thougher and with Diara she saves the day once again!

This sounds really ambiguous to me.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to find Astos, but apparently being at level 11 was a little high for the fight--he barely touched me at all. Punk!

Yeah that is a tad high Im only lvl. 8/9

It's worth noting that I'm utterly pedantic when it comes to levelling in this and indeed FF3. Because all my characters start at Level 1 I can't bare to see any of them level-up out of sequence. As such should anyone die during a fight and they're still dead at the end I'll reset and go through whatever dungeon I've just been through all over again. Yes, I'm that obsessive.

Current status; Levelling in Chaos Temple, Level 68 RM Party. We don't get bonus points for completing the DoS/PSP dungeons do we?

It's worth it though, even if there are no bonus points, I mean, I got a 4th Ribbon, so that makes me happy. And speaking of bonus dungeons, Earthgift Shrine and Hellfire Chasm cleared, onto Lifespring Grotto. Level 76 party.

Edit: Gilgamesh and Atomos down, Shinryu and Omega are pains in my ass though.

I'm going through the Soul of Chaos dungeons, too. Lifespring Grotto and Whisperwind Cove left to do but I doubt I'll have the patience to do them.

Today I wandered around the Chaos Temple for an hour and a half. I don't know where to go and the random encounter rate is way too high. I had hoped to complete it today...
