I beat Garland and crossed the bridge before stopping for now. The GBA version really is a hell of a lot easier.

Currently exploring Terra Cave. Damn, that Gnoma's attack is strong. Lucky I can mostly avoid those battles by opening the chests from the sides.

Maaaaaan, I was breezing through this game and then life got in the way. I have free time right now! Just about to go for Lich, then I will fly through Ice Cave hopefully and then get class change!

EDIT: annnnd down goes Lich.

EDIT2: oh come on. these packs of undead with paralysis power are the bane of my existence.

EDIT3: Second time through the Ice Cave proved much more fruitful, and insanely more lucky. I ran away from one pack of undead who had been paralyzing me when I had 9 HP left. And I managed to get a first strike against the Frost D. guarding the Ice Armor and then got my second and final sword swing in before it could attack me once. Eye also died in one hit.

EDIT4: Cruising right on through this game now. Excellently equipped too. By the way, Sorcerors suck. It's ProRing purchase time. PS: Bahamut's room is unnecessarily long.
