Woohoo... Finally got enough money for my needs, killed Astos, went to Matoya, woke up the prince, opened the 'doors' and on the way to blow up the hole.

Wow, I'm behind.

I just made it to the town Bikke is in at Lvl. 4.

Though to note, out of my two fighters, Ava(Rice-ness), and Popa, (Poetically Pathetic), they are the same stat wise on all but 2 areas. Popa has 2 more health, and 1 more luck then Ava. Meaning Popa is superior to Ava. :P

And between Maxx and Ouch, Maxx has more HP, STR, and AGI, and is equal in all other chatagories.

Note all are at Lvl 4, and I will get all the best equipment before fighting Bikke.

Played all the way to the ship, now getting money AGAIN, and since its FOUR red mages and its the NES, its gonna take a while -_-

Right, so the Marsh Cave is destroying me, so I'm going to need to do some massive leveling to even survive.

Today's accomplishments:


LOL'ed at a bunch of pirates.


Got a freakin' sweet new ship.


Current level. Stupid mages don't gain a lot of HP.

Next step: grind some levels and gain GP to buy new equipment, spells, and items needed for the Marsh Cave. Yarr, th' sea be me friend! Sea monsters give good XP and monies!

The Beginning

Aton: Quite a rarity, a monotheistic Egyptian god. Only lasted during Akhenaten's reign as Pharoah. Baal: A dichotomy; the word can mean "Lord" in Hebrew, it was the name for SEVERAL gods, and also one of the kings of Hell. Cain: The first son of Adam and Eve, who murdered his younger brother, Abel. Deus: Latin for "god" or "deity". In particular, named after the final boss in Xenogears.

Halfway There

Sweet, class change! I did this pretty much as soon as I'd finished the Earth Cave, skipping Gurgu Volcano (I actually did it third, after the Sea Shrine).

Clash on the Big Bridge

Ow. Ow. Ow. This git hurt. And yet for once, Deus is the one standing strong, when he's always the one who takes a beating (along with Baal, who had the best Agi so got moved up to point).

Final Preparations

Stats and Equip right before fighting Chaos. Got the entire party to 45, got more money than God, the best equip I could lay my hands on and more than enough spells to wipe the floor with anyone.

Unto the Breach

Or maybe just enough to do the job. Deus scraped by, much more akin to his performance throughout the rest of the game. Lv.1-Lv.45, beginning to the end, 14 hours. God bless Nesticle for being a DOS emulator, allowing me to massively ramp up the speed it played at.
