About that XFER spell.

What does it do? I've readed some descriptions and it says that it "Removes special defenses from the enemy", what do they mean with that? If I cast XFER on Chaos and it works, will I be able to mute him?

If I remember correctly, XFER is in the list of spells in FF1 that do precisely nothing. At least it's not as bad as LOK2.

Chaos used XFER on my Knight once, and then he did a lot of damage.

It's possible that the spell decreases the defense on your chatacter by a lot.

It's also possible that Chaos can do high amounts of physical damage.

Hard to say.

But between Fade and Life2, there really isn't much time for wasting a lv. 8 point on XFER, imo.

I think it might be the equivalent of Dispel.
