Can you make a Leaving/Returning Forum?
No. We don't tolerate those kind of threads.

Can you make a Computer/Web Design/Technical Forum?
No. Use General Chat for discussion and Help for questions.

Can you make a Final Fantasy Unlimited Forum?
No. Use the Video Game Music / The Spirits Within forum or the General Final Fantasy forum or even The Lounge. Any will do.

Can you make a Spam Forum?
No. We don't tolerate spam.

Can you make a Flaming / Battle Forum?
No. We don't tolerate flaming.

Can you make a Swearing Forum?
No. Shove it up your a-*shot*

Can you make an Oldbie Forum?
No. We don't tolerate Raistlin.

Can you make an Anime Forum?
No. Use The Lounge.

Can you make a Music Forum?
No. Use The Lounge.

Can you make an Events / Competitions Forum?
No. Use General Chat.

Can you make a forum that combines any two or more of the above types of forums?

No. Use a smaller resolution on your screen and the pictures will appear to be bigger.

Can you archive this thread?
No. We'll archive what we want to archive. If you really feel that we've missed something, PM a member of Staff asking politely if Staff forgot to archive the thread, or if they actually didn't find it worth archiving. I'm sure they'll reply soon enough with an answer. Don't argue with our decisions. We hate that.

Where are the post counts? / Can we have post counts?
They're gone because they encouraged spamming. / No.

How do I become a moderator (Cid's Knight) or an administrator?
You don't ask, for a start, and you just hang around. We don't generally promote people who try to become staff. I think the average wait is about a year, and then you have to compete with about 50 other members who are probably more suitable for the job than you. And yes, that doesn't sound promising, but let's face it - getting on staff is a bloody hard thing to do. Don't try, because it'll probably ruin your chances. Just be yourself and post like everyone else is, we'll decide on who we want when we want them.

No. These games do not get the attention necessary to sustain their own forum. Please use the General Final Fantasy and General Square-Enix forums to discuss these games.

Yes, it's in the Moderator control panel. If you want to see it, get asked to be on staff. Good luck with that.

If you view a thread as a conversation, it's like one person continuing to talk while everyone else has walked out of the room without saying anything. The one person left will look and feel foolish.

This is especially a problem in threads where people are asking for advice; the problem people were seeking help with may be long solved, and people may not really want to revisit the issue.

It's also especially a problem with threads that have been closed for so long that people's views or opinions may have changed over the time the thread has lain dead.
